Elementary Class (ages 6 to 11)

From the age of 6, children enter a new phase of development characterized by a thirst for knowledge, a spirit of inquiry, and a growing desire to understand the world and its rules. Our Elementary Class is designed to support this essential period with kindness and high standards.

In this environment, Montessori pedagogy remains at the heart of learning. Children continue their exploration through Montessori materials specifically adapted for elementary school, encouraging abstraction, critical thinking and interdisciplinarity. At the same time, they discover complementary activities such as scientific experiments, cooking, cultural outings and sports (including swimming), which nurture their natural curiosity and reinforce their social skills.

In a bilingual, collaborative environment, children develop their independence, their ability to work in groups, their creativity and their sense of responsibility. Learning is experienced as a collective adventure, guided by respect for each individual's pace and interests.

We are also committed to respecting the French Education Nationale's socle commun de connaissances, de compétences et de culture (Common Base of Knowledge, Skills and Culture), which sets out what every pupil should know and master by the age of 11. This foundation brings together all the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes needed to succeed in school, as an individual and as a future citizen.

Students are also prepared for the Cambridge English Qualifications for Schools exam. This preparation complements the introduction to English provided by the French Ministry of Education, and enables them to develop a progressive mastery of spoken and written English, with a view to international exposure.
